Hog Island Surf Lodge & Beer Yard

Good breakfast and they’re often praised for the wide selection of craft beers and creative cocktails, which complement the casual and flavorful menu offerings. Mac’s Shack Wellfleet

There will occasionally be out of pocket local swine who will bang on the tables or try to walk out on the bill after they’re turned down (again) by the waitress but, overall, it’s a great spot. Standout dishes include their "lazy" butter-poached lobster and a variety of creative sushi rolls. The casual, yet refined vibe combined with outdoor seating options make it an ideal place to enjoy Cape Cod's culinary delights during the summer months

The parking lot down the street has been known to host to a good-spirited, drunken backseat (or frontseat) makeout. If you’re driving through, mind your business, but if you’re in the market for a heater, welcome home.

Definitely go and get a large pizza (sometimes they use too much dough in the small), when it’s done right you get a great crust. Be specific about the raw v the carmelized onions (who puts caramelized onions on pizza?), I’ve seen the chairs fly. Legit second best pizza in the Outer Cape (something to be proud of).

Box Lunch - Wellfleet

Great spot for casual, satisfying meals. The cafe is appreciated for its fresh and flavorful sandwiches, soups, and salads - people widely note the quality of the ingredients. The service is simple, friendly, and efficient. The seating is limited but it’s not really a problem - when you catch it at the right time, Box Lunch offers excellent food and value in a cozy, laid-back setting.

The wait for the bakery can be rough but it’s the best bread in the area by far. There are also discounts for paying with cash. If you’re putting in an order over $35, you can call ahead and pick up - a good move for sure.
