Located on a large freshwater pond, Great Pond Beach offers a quieter alternative to the ocean beaches. It's great for swimming and has a more relaxed atmosphere. Parking is generally available but fills up quickly on hot days.

An excellently mirrored image of a pond and the sky twinned at the horizon line. The colors are deep, so the gold sky as the sun falls in the sky is prominent. In the water are two canoes and a smaller boat, both floating unmanned. There are many small clouds in the blue and yellowing sky.
