Herring Cove Beach

Part of the Cape Cod National Seashore, is a more sheltered and family-friendly option with gentle waves, making it ideal for swimming. This beach offers more extensive parking facilities, public restrooms, and a concession stand run by Far Land Provisions. Like Race Point, Herring Cove is open year-round, with lifeguards on duty during the summer. Beach fire permits are also available but are limited in number, so it’s wise to plan ahead if you want to enjoy a beach fire. [$25 parking fee - beach fires by permit]
